Prometheus and Aloel
He saw her standing upon a summit in a golden milieu. He was weary from his Heavenly sojourn but his attention could not waiver from the beauty of this splendid silver haired vixen...her hair billowing around her enchanting figure. She raised her eyes to the clouds , innocence masking her grey-green orbs as she lifted her arms and whirled suddenly to come sprinting down the rocks in his direction. His heart seemed to halt in his chest as she came nearer....her lovliness was more than he could hold in his mind. She saw him, as he tried to shield his face from her, and paused. "What carry you upon the staff sir", she inquired. He had forgotten the firey glow he carried with him..."no staff, My Lady", he replied, "tis part of me, my gift to mankind from the Gods". "I would have thy gift if it is such a rich one sir"...she gasped. He knew then she was to be his very own...he looked deeply into her eyes..anchored himself there and...as his arm made the arc towards her...the mist of stars and fire followed and made the halo from his hand. As soon as his fingers aimed the target....the Fire streaked to her breast and exploded within her...she was his for life as the fire filled her and she gasped looking to the man who beamed her with God's glorious blaze! ...he branded her as she fell...the fire sweeping through her. her eyes burned brightly as the tiny flames licked at her lips.....and her hair smoldered with a smoky aroma filling the air with the essence of his love...As her last breath eeked away...he bent to her...his firey fingertips to her lips, his steaming tears fell upon her eyelids as the thunder rolled over them....lightning broke the black clouds overhead.. and her lids fluttered....his breath left him as she opened her eyes and stars beamed at him....the starlight filled his mind as he offered his hand to lift her...a great arc of twinkling stars rounded his brow as the fire danced dizzily on her locks....her smile was smoldering as she rose to him....great colored auroras swirled round them sweeping to the heavens. Stars and Fire mingled in a sparkling rainbow as they embraced to become one....their Universal beauty never before seen and never to be equalled hence. As you gaze into a fire or watch the Aurora Bourealis, know the sacrificial union of Prometheus and Aloel.
