progressing into life.

As age - disappointment
falsetto distant dreams
blend in disharmony.
We look toward our seams.
Bound in aspirations
stitched in memories.
Stuffed with fuzzy feelings,
put a zipper in for free.
Open or close,
Breath or not.
Love or hate,
our feelings are fought.
We bind ourselves in metal
encasing a cold heart.,
till rusted and vacant
crumbling apart.
We patch and probe
mend and shine.
